The Barr Brothers 'It Came to Me' (video)
Canadian roots rockers the Barr Brothers recently released their latest LP Queens of the Breakers, and now "It Came to Me" off that record has been given the video treatment.
The clip was filmed in Shigawake, QC, where drummer Andrew Barr's wife grew up and, more recently, has been organizing a music festival as part of the town's 100-year-old agricultural fair. The footage in the new video was captured at said fair, where the Barr Brothers performed last year — though it captures plenty of fun from beyond the stage.
A lawnmower mud-racing showdown provides the real entertainment, leaving viewers feeling like they're actually "caked in mud, with the smell of booze and wood smoke hanging in the damp air."

"For us and everyone up there, [the music festival] has become the party of the summer," Andrew Barr said in a statement. "This year when I heard that the video's director Vincent was coming to the fair to do some filming, I called him and requested he bring a couple good cameras and a rain poncho… Vincent dug in deep, making friends with the fairgoers, capturing some of the absurd moments and the seamless clashing of worlds that seems like it could only happen in Shigawake."
